We do everything we can to provide the best eggs possible for incubation. Fertility is checked at the beginning of the season and eggs will not be sold from any breed until we are happy. We will only ever supply eggs we would incubate ourselves and we are extremely careful to only breed from healthy, unrelated birds to ensure strong vigorous chicks.
Most breeds begin to lay around April time, and therefore the main bulk of our hatching eggs are available to purchase between April-July.
We start to take PREORDERS for eggs in January. They are listed in our ebay shop. Any other spare eggs are also listed here when available.
OUR EBAY SHOP CAN BE ACCESSED HERE.
If you plan to collect the eggs yourself they can be ordered directly, preferably through email or text for record.
Our eggs generally travel well due to several reasons...
-We only send eggs special delivery to ensure they arrive promptly and believe they are treated with more care than standard post.
-We use polystyrene boxes for posting all eggs up to the size of duck eggs. They are the most efficient and cost effective method of sending eggs and if properly packaged arrive safely. Eggs larger than duck eggs are wrapped in bubbled wrap and packed in boxes of sawdust or hay.
-All eggs are candled for cracks and marked with the company logo before packing in a polystyrene box and secured with strong fragile tape.
-We post eggs Monday-Thursday within the Uk and Northern Ireland (average cost £10)
-We post eggs Monday-Wednesday to South of Ireland(average cost £15)
-Polystyrene boxes are currently £1 each. We don't make any profit on postage or packaging charges.
